On many projects that include partial or complete reconstruction it is imperative that current codes be evaluated and assessed for applicability. Amherst provides this service on many of its projects. It is more often than not that the wrong codes and code upgrades will be applied to a project by a contractor when it is evaluated as a remodel and not a repair.
